Board Purpose

The Board's mission is to administer, coordinate and enforce regulations relating to physical therapy in South Carolina. This involves the registration of all physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. The Board evaluates qualifications of applicants and investigates persons engaged in the practice of physical therapy in order to protect the public from unauthorized and unqualified practitioners.
