The South Carolina Real Estate Commission mourns the loss of a former Commissioner and a jewel of the South Carolina Real Estate profession, Ms. Evelyn K. Young. Ms. Young proudly and honorably served on Commission from November of 1996 until November of 2012 and acted as Chairperson from July of 2003 until November of 2005. The 2014 renewal period has ended for South Carolina Real Estate Licensees with a June 30, 2014 expiration date. Any licenses due for renewal on June 30, 2014 which were not renewed by January 1, 2015 are statutorily canceled in accordance with S.C. Code of Laws Section 40-57-110 (J). Licensees are required to renew whether or not they receive a renewal notice in accordance with S.C. Code of Laws Section 40-57-110 (H). In order to be relicensed, a canceled licensee must re-qualify for initial licensure.
EFFECTIVE 8/1/13: NEW South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement
NEW South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement (Effective August 1, 2013): At the June 12, 2013 meeting of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, a new South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement and Addendum was approved. The new form will go into effect on August 1, 2013 for any new listings, or any listings renewed after the effective date. A message to all licensees has been issued on behalf of the Commission regarding implementation of the new form which can be read below.
