The South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) can accept and investigate complaints against private employers who employ 100 or more workers for alleged violations of the "Illegal Aliens and Private Employment" law. Complaints must be signed and in writing. By law, complaints against private employers who employ less than 100 employees can not be accepted and investigated until July 1, 2010.
