TIME TO RENEW!
Individual architect licenses expire on June 30, 2013. You may begin renewing online on April 1, 2013, for the period ending June 30, 2015. You must have 24 hours of continuing education in topics related to safeguarding health, safety and public welfare BEFORE you renew unless you meet one of the exemption options. There is exemption information on the renewal notice that was mailed in late March. If you have questions, please review the Frequently Asked Questions on this website before calling the Board office.
Corporate architectural firm licenses expire on August 31, 2013. You may begin renewing online on June 4, 2013, for the period ending August 31, 2015. If you serve as the designated architect in responsible charge, you must renew your individual license prior to the firm licensure renewal deadline of August 31, 2013, or another architect licensed in South Carolina must be designated as the architect in responsible charge. Corporate renewals cannot be processed until the designated architect in responsible charge has renewed his/her individual license
